How to bet it

Positive HFPE means the visitor was flagged harder. Crews that keep posting big positive numbers are worth a look on home sides and home team totals; steady negatives soften home-field value.
Flag volume drives pace. High-penalty crews stop the clock, extend drives and push totals up; low-flag chiefs like Shawn Smith and Alex Kemp historically trim plays and lean under.
Assignments post a few days before kickoff. Check the crew before you bet a short total or a key-number home line, not after.
One or two games is noise. Wait for five-plus crew games before treating a lean as a real edge, and never make officiating your main reason for a bet.
