Ranks each roster by real, documented contract-year and “prove-it” situations. Skill-position (QB/RB/WR/TE) players in a confirmed contract year or on an expiring deal count double; other confirmed one-year “prove-it” deals elsewhere on the roster count once. Teams with no specific documented signal are treated as neutral (average) rather than penalized — this is not a claim that every other roster lacks any contract-year players, only that a standout, specifically documented case wasn’t identified for this edition.
