Ranks each roster by real, documented contract-year and “prove-it” situations. Star skill-position players (starting QB, lead back, WR1, featured tight end) in the last year of their deal carry the most weight. Rosters whose only contract-year signal is a depth or non-skill veteran are marked ROLE and count for far less.
